Some people seem to defy age, make-up, visits to the gym and tanning bed to go beyond physical beauty. They exude Godly beauty. We are drawn to them, to the Holy Spirit in them.
I desire to be that kind of BEAUTIFUL. To have the Lord say,
“nope, Lisa wasn’t a super model on the outside but, boy on the inside she sure was good looking!”
I encourage you today to do these three things to exude Godly Beauty:
- Line up with God’s view of beauty and be free from comparing yourself to the culture.
- Spend real “face time” with God and start reflecting the glory of the Lord.
- Keep your heart in shape, by confessing your sins regularly and and focusing on God’s goals instead of your own.

Fanny Crosby wrote over 9,000 hymns in her lifetime.
Blind, Fanny could barely write her name legibly. Beginning at the age of 15, Fanny lived and then taught for 35 years at the New York Institute for the Blind.
At the age of 8 she wrote.
Oh, what a happy soul I am,
Although I cannot see!
I am resolved that in this world
Contented I will be.
How many blessings I enjoy
That other people don’t I
To weep and sigh because I’m blind,
I cannot and I won’t!
What do you think….. was she BEAUTIFUL?
Check out one of her 9,000 hymns below….
All the way my Savior leads me
What have I to ask beside
Can I doubt His faithful mercies
Who through life has been my guide
Heavenly peace, divinest comfort
ere by faith in Him to dwell
for I know whatever fall me
Jesus doeth all things well
All of the way my Savior leads me
and He cheers each winding path I tread
gives me strength for every trial
and He feeds me with the living bread
and though my weary steps may falter
and my soul a thirst may be
gushing from a rock before me
though a spirit joy I see
And all the way my Savior leads me
oh the fullness of His love
perfect rest in me is promised
in my Father’s house above
when my spirit clothed immortal
wings its flight to realms of day
this my song through endless ages
Jesus led me all the way

“When once a chairman of a multinational company came to see me, to offer me a property in Bombay, he first asked:
‘Mother, how do you manage your budget?”
I asked him who had sent him here. He replied:
‘I felt an urge inside me.’
I said: other people like you come to see me and say the same. It was clear God sent you, Mr. A, as He sends Mr. X, Mrs. Y, Miss Z, and they provide the material means we need for our work. The grace of God is what moved you. You are my budget. God sees to our needs, as Jesus promised.
I accepted the property he gave and named it Asha Dan (Gift of Hope).
What do you think?
Beautiful? You bet!
Do you look at her and think…she could use a facelift?
Why? Because of who she is…her heart for Christ.
What about you sister? What makes you beautiful? You are you know….more beautiful than you can imagine. When the world tells you that you’re not attractive or thin enough or young enough….don’t you believe it.
You are beautiful because of the one who lives in you.
He never leaves you, forsakes you and always stands by you.
