A Beautiful Heart
Sweet sisters, my heart if so full of love for you as I sit down to write today. You’re so beautiful! You raise your children, care for aging parents, teach at church…clean the church, pray for your families, love your husbands, work for a paycheck, work for nothing, stretch a dollar, encourage, admonish, discipline, organize…..you my friends are BEAUTIFUL!
But the LORD said to Samuel, “Do not consider his appearance or his height, for I have rejected him. The LORD does not look at the things man looks at. Man looks at the outward appearance, but the LORD looks at the heart.
1 Samuel 16:7
Man looks at outward appearance. But the Lord looks at the heart.

Let us draw near to God with a sincere heart in full assurance of faith, having our hearts sprinkled to cleanse us from a guilty conscience and having our bodies washed with pure water.
The good man brings good things out of the good stored up in his heart, and the evil man brings evil things out of the evil stored up in his heart. For out of the overflow of his heart his mouth speaks.
According to Scripture here are some of the benefits of having a beautiful heart….
1) The Lord will bless you in all your work and in everything you put your hand to
2) your heart will not be weighed down, but cheered up
3)The Lord will hear you when you call out to him
4 )You will have a clear conscience
5) Your words will be good.
Let’s pray and agree together…
Lord we want a beautiful heart. A heart that is pleasing to you. A heart full of generosity, goodness, purity. Forgive us of our sins today and create in us clean hearts and renew a right spirit within us. That we might be truly beautiful in your eyes.
